Schmidt Family Farm raises a small herd of beef cattle with a focus on quality care and locally raised beef. We bottle raise our calves and care for them throughout the entire feeding process until they are ready for processing. Throughout the year, we work with several trusted local processing lockers in the area to provide fresh, locally sourced beef products for our family, friends, and customers.

Schmidt Family Farm is a proud registered breeder with the Miniature Dairy Goat Association (MDGA).
Operating under our official MDGA-registered farm name, Faith Haven, we are dedicated to raising high-quality miniature dairy goats with care and commitment. Miniature dairy goats are an excellent choice for those seeking manageable, productive animals with a friendly disposition. Their compact size makes them ideal for small farms or urban homesteads, as they require less space and are easier to handle than standard breeds. Despite their small stature, they produce a surprising amount of creamy, high-butterfat milk, perfect for cheese, yogurt, and soap-making. Cost-effective to keep, they eat less and require smaller housing and equipment, making them an affordable option. Known for their gentle temperament and playful personalities, miniature goats are great companions for families, including children. They’re also hardy, adaptable to various climates, and less prone to some health issues common in larger breeds. Perfect for small-scale dairy needs, they provide just enough milk for personal use without waste while offering endless entertainment and joy.
